It is well-known for its fertile land and hot summer producing variety of delicious fruits such as watermelons, jackfruit, lychees, papaya, pomegranates, pineapples, bananas and betel-nut, to name a few. It is a country where a large number of Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs and Animists accepted Islam. Islam continues to spread in this land through the endeavours of luminary scholars and Masajid, Makatib and Madaris continue to be built with the increase of Muslim population.
