Nahw Meer
The famous Arabic Grammar text used as part of the Islamic scholarship course, Dars-e-Nizami.
The work ‘Nahw Mīr’ is authored by al-Sayyid al-Sharīf ʿAlī b. Muhammad al-Jurjānī [740 - 816 AH] who was born in the city of Jurjān on the 22nd of Shaʿbān in the year 740AH. He attained his religious education from the foremost authorities of his time, namely al-ʿAllāma Mubārak Shāh and al-ʿAllāma Akmal al-Dīn Muhammad b. Mahmūd al-Bābartī. Under the guardianship of such reputable luminaries, he became known by two epithets; “al-Sayyid al-Sanad” and “Mīr Sayyid”.
