My beloved teacher and mentor, Shaykh Mufti Saiful Islām (hafizahullāh) would say, ‘Shaytān isn’t worried about what you do tomorrow; He’s worried about what you do today.’ Now that is a profound statement. The reason why shaytān isn’t worried about what we plan to do tomorrow is that ‘tomorrow never comes’. Therefore, if you want to see the change tomorrow, you must be the change today.
